John Fareham is a councillor the ex-husband of Dehenna Davison, a British Conservative Party politician and broadcaster.

The pair appeared in the Channel 4 documentary series Bride and Prejudice, which featured their wedding at Kingston upon Hull’s Guildhall.
Davison came out as bisexual in 2021, after they divorced before the 2019 general election. She was the Conservative Party’s first openly bisexual female MP.

Dehenna Davison has served as the Member of Parliament for Bishop Auckland since the general election in 2019. Between September 2022 and September 2023, she was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Levelling Up.
In the 2015 and 2017 general elections, she was the Conservative candidate for Kingston upon Hull North and Sedgefield, respectively.
Davison was elected as the Member of Parliament for Bishop Auckland in the 2019 general election. She is the constituency’s first Conservative representative since its inception in 1885.
