The grim finding was made by Nigerian security officials in a secluded area close to Ochekwo’s residence. In a video shared on Instagram by Nigerian human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, the decomposed body, wrapped in a blanket, was found dumped in a nearby bush.
According to Harrison, a curtain similar to the one used to wrap the body was discovered in Ochekwo’s house at No 48 Stallion Street, Ogbor-Hill, Aba, Abia State.
“Witnesses say that the body has been here for over a month and that there was no head, some parts of the body were removed. The curtain we found here is the same one we found hanging in his house,” Harrison stated.

The missing Ghanaian, Afiba Abigail Tandoh, was last seen in April 2024, in Abia State, along with her friend, Celine Chidinma Ndidum. They were reportedly en route to southern Rivers State for a wedding that was ultimately cancelled.
Andrew Amechi Otchipo, a 52-year-old British Nigerian, was arrested in connection with the disappearance of the two women. He was apprehended by Interpol in Nigeria, with CCTV footage from the hotel where they were last seen revealing evidence linking the suspect to the missing girls.
However, reports indicate that Otchipo was killed during the investigation process while being transported to Abuja by the police. It’s alleged that he attempted to escape, prompting law enforcement officers to shoot him.
The case has raised significant concerns and garnered attention from both Nigerian and Ghanaian authorities, with investigations ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the abduction and subsequent events.
