David Porecki was born in Sydney, Australia on October 23, 1992. His playing position is hooker. David Porecki made one brief appearance off the bench for Waratahs against Cheetahs during the 2015 Super Rugby season.
David Porecki joined Saracens as cover for Jamie George and Schalk Britz who were expected to be on international duty during the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

In his first season at the Saracens club, David Porecki made 16 appearances. In July 2020, it was confirmed that David Porecki would return to the Waratahs for their Super Rugby campaign.
On 2 July 2022, made his debut for Australia starting in a win against England at Perth Stadium.
In his 22/23 Super Rugby Pacific season, Porecki played 11 matches for Waratahs scoring 3 tries. Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, David Porecki has been named in the training squad for Australia.
