David Norrie: Who is Cameron Norrie’s father?

David Norrie is a microbiologist best known as Cameron Norrie’s father. David is from Scotland. He is married to his lovely wife Helen Norrie, who is also a microbiologist and is Welsh.

David and his wife Helen have always been involved in Cameron’s career. They funded Norrie’s overseas travel for five months after he rose to No. 10 in the world representing New Zealand.

Cameron Norrie achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 10 achieved on 4 April 2022 and a doubles ranking of No. 123 achieved on 23 August 2021.

He has four ATP Tour singles titles and one doubles title, including a Masters 1000 title at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters. Since October 18, 2021, Norrie has been the current British No. 1 in men’s singles.

Norrie attended Texas Christian University (TCU) on a sports scholarship and joined the Horned Frogs University team, where he became the top-ranked male college tennis player in the United States, the first time TCU had such an honour. Norrie was also named All-American three times.
