After the band arrived in the United States, Grohl, 53, hugged a man who appeared to be his manager, John Silva.
Hawkins was Grohl’s ‘best buddy and partner in crime,’ according to his biography, ‘The Storyteller,’ someone who lightened up places with an effervescent presence and a constant ‘toothy grin.’
Guitarists Pat Smear and Chris Shiflett, keyboardist Rami Jaffee, and backing singer Samantha Sidley were all seen entering. They flew in on a private plane before being arrested.

Hawkins’ heart weighed twice as much as the usual man his age, according to an autopsy, and the musician died of a ‘cardiovascular collapse’ after bingeing on heroin, marijuana, and painkillers.
Hawkins’ heart weighed ‘at least 600 grammes’ during an inspection following his sudden death at a fancy hotel in Colombia’s capital Bogota on Friday, according to Colombian weekly magazine Semana. This is more than double the usual of 300 to 350 grammes.
