Darryl Hunt Cause Of Death

The Pogues’ bass player and songwriter, Darryl Hunt, passed away on August 9, 2022, in London. He was aged 72.

His cause of death has not been stated.

News of his death was Ann by the punk group on Twitter.

The group had quoted lyrics of a song written by Hunt, titled Love You Till the End.

“I know you want to hear me catch my breath / I love you till the end.”

“I am very very sorry that Darryl has passed on, he was a really nice guy and a great friend and a great bass player,” The Pogues’ frontman, Shane MacGowan, wrote.

When Was Darryl Hunt Born?

Hunt was born in Hampshire on 4 May 1950.

He started playing bass in the Pogues in 1986, and prior to that time, he had played in the pub rock band Plummet Airlines and the Favourites.

Hunt was the brain behind the album If I Should Fall from Grace with God.

MacGowan, Jem Finer, James Fearnley, Andrew Ranken, Terry Woods, Hunt, Stacy and other musical artists make up the Pogues.
