Who Is Darren Harriot?
Darren Harriott is a stand-up comedian and media personality known for presenting radio shows on BBC Radio.
Born on September 1, 1988, Harriot grew up with his family in Oldbury, near Birmingham before moving to London to launch his comedy career.

He began with his UK shows “Visceral” and “Good Heart Yute,” performing in clubs, and later started the comedy series Darren Harriott’s Black Label, on BBC Radio 4.

Since then, Harriott has been on several TV shows such as Live at the Apollo, The Last Leg, Ghost Bus Tours, Hey Tracey, Comedy Games Night, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Apprentice: You’re Fired!, Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice, Catchpoint for Sport Relief, University Challenge for Comic Relief, CelebAbility, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier, Celebrity Mastermind, and many others.
As a radio host, Harriot has served as anchor for the BBC radio shows Comedy of the Week, Summer Festival, Best of the Fest, The Now Show, and Fighting Talk.
In 2017 Harriot received a nomination for the Best Newcomer Award, and in 2019, he was nominated for Best Show Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
In 2022, Harriot joined the panellist on the show Aftersun, and the following year, appeared as a contestant on the fifteenth episode of Dancing on Ice.
