Dare Ogunbowale Parents: Meet Yolanda Ogunbowale, Gregory Ogunbowale

Oluwadare “Dare” Ogunbowale plays running back for the Houston Texans in the National Football League. He participated in Wisconsin’s collegiate football program.

Ogunbowale initially signed with the Houston Texans in 2017 as an undrafted free agent before joining the practice squads of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins. He later made a return to Tampa Bay to play for two seasons.

Ogunbowale joined the Wisconsin football team as a cornerback. He subsequently moved to run back, racking up over 2,000 total yards and 15 total touchdowns. In his senior year, he received the team captain vote.

Ogunbowale agreed to a $3.3 million, two-year contract with the Houston Texans on March 23, 2022.

Dare Ogunbowale is the son of Gregory Yinka Ogunbowale and Yolanda Ogunbowale.

They are proud parents who are devoted to their son Dare.

Dare’s father is from Nigeria and his mother is from the United States, so he comes from two separate ethnic groups.

As a result, he has Afro-American and multicultural ancestry.

In addition to Dare, Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale have two more children, Mario and Arike.
