Darcelle XV Cause of Death

Darcelle XV died at the age of 92 on March 23, 2023. She died of natural causes.

In a statement by her club on Facebook, it said, “The family of Darcelle XV along with her cast and crew are heartbroken to announce that our beloved Darcelle (Walter W. Cole, Sr) has died at the age of 92 from natural causes,”.

The club also asked for privacy and patience as everyone processes and grieves in their way and at their own pace. The statement also mentioned that details of a public memorial will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

Darcelle XV was the stage name of Walter W. Cole, a drag queen, entertainer and cabaret owner and operator in Portland, Oregon, United States.

Guinness World Records certified him as the oldest drag queen performer in 2016, with a career as an entertainer spanning 57 years at the time of his death.
