Dara Costelloe’s career began at age 14  when he played youth football for Galway United.

He went on to make his first team debut for the club at the age of 15, and thus became the youngest player to ever play for the first team.

Dara now plays for English football club Burnley, that competes in the Premier League.

He had joined the club in 2021, and after a one-year training with Steve Stone’s Academy, his contract with Burnley was renewed in 2022.

Dara became top goal scorer for the season, recording twelve goals. In 2023, Dara was loaned to EFL League Two side Bradford City.
