Danielle began playing football with SV Valkenswaard youth club, as far back as 1995.

At age 17, she made her professional debut with Dutch Eredivisie club, Willem II, where she played for three seasons, making 47 appearances and scoring five goals.

Danielle has also played for other clubs such as UNA, VVV-Venlo, PSV/FC Eindhoven, Arsenal, and Kopparbergs/Göteborg.
