Former football player for Willem II Daniëlle van de Donk was born to her parents, Yvonne Kox and Chris van de Donk.

Her father, Chris, has formerly served as coach for the second Rood-Wit in Veldhoven.
Daniëlle van de Donk Career
Daniëlle van de Donk has had a successful football career that has spanned over two decades, beginning from 1995, when she played with SV Valkenswaard youth club.
The football midfielder now plays for the French Division 1 Féminine club Lyon, and the Netherlands.

Danielle turned pro in 2008, playing for the Dutch Eredivisie club, Willem II, where she made 47 appearances and scored five goals in three seasons.
Danielle has also played for other clubs such as UNA, VVV-Venlo, Arsenal, PSV/FC Eindhoven, and Kopparbergs/Göteborg.
Internationally, Danielle has represented Netherlands in various tournaments including the UEFA Women’s Euro, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
In 2023, she was selected as part of Netherlands’ provisional squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
She has so far made 139 appearances and scored 34 goals for Netherlands.
