Daniëlle van de Donk is a football player who plays the midfielder position for Netherlands, and the French Division 1 Féminine club Lyon.
Born on August 5, 1991, in Valkenswaard, Netherlands, Danielle began playing football in 1995 with SV Valkenswaard youth club, where she played until 2006.

She turned pro at age 17, making her senior career debut with Dutch Eredivisie club, Willem II, in 2008. She played with the club for three seasons, making 47 appearances and scoring five goals.

In 2015, Danielle joined the English club Arsenal of the FA Women’s Super League (FA WSL), and aided the team in winning its 14th FA Cup title.
In 2021, Danielle began playing for Lyon after agreeing to a two-year contract.
Danielle has also played for other clubs such as UNA, VVV-Venlo, PSV/FC Eindhoven, and Kopparbergs/Göteborg.
On the international stage, Danielle has represented Netherlands in various tournaments including the UEFA Women’s Euro, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup. She helped the country win the UEFA Women’s Euro in 2017, and come second place during the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019.
