Born on September 17, 1998, Dan Sheehan is an Irish professional rugby union player who competes for both the Ireland national team and United Rugby Championship club Leinster as a hooker.

In June 2020, Leinster and Dan Sheehan agreed to his first professional deal. In the third round of the Pro14 2020-21 season, against Zebre, he makes his Leinster debut in October 2020 and scores two tries. He received the Young Men’s Player of the Year 2021–22 award from Leinster in June 2022. The XV Elite URC 2022-2023 of the year gave Dan Sheehan special recognition.
