Daniel Firova is a professional baseball catcher and quality control coach for the Houston Astros of the MLB.
Born on October 16, 1956, Firova attended Pan American College where he played baseball and obtained his first degree.
Firova played for the Seattle Mariners, and Cleveland Indians recording 7 bats in 17 games.

As a Coach, he managed the Washington Nationals, and Houston Astros. He also served as manager of Vaqueros Laguna in the Mexican League and won the league’s Manager of the Year in 2000.
In addition, Firova managed the Class AAA Acereros de Monclova of the Mexican League for the Spring Tournament of the 2018 season.
The following year, Firova made a comeback to Acereros de Monclova as the team’s bench coach.
In 2021, the Houston Astros absorbed Firova as Quality Control coach with the major league team.
