Beyond his musical contributions, Suzuki was also a devoted father to three sons. While little is known about his sons, their presence undoubtedly brought joy and fulfillment to Suzuki’s life, serving as a source of inspiration and love.

Tragically, Suzuki’s life was marked by struggles with illness. At the tender age of 33, he was first diagnosed with colon cancer, a disease that had claimed the life of his father when Suzuki was just a child of five.

Despite facing this formidable adversary, Suzuki approached life with resilience and determination, refusing to let his illness define him.

In 2014, Suzuki received the devastating news of a recurrence of colon cancer, with doctors giving him a mere 10% chance of survival. Undeterred by the bleak prognosis, he confronted his illness with grace and fortitude, continuing to pursue his passion for music with unwavering resolve.

Throughout his remarkable career, Suzuki’s influence transcended boundaries and left an indelible mark on the world of music. From his groundbreaking work with Can to his solo endeavors and collaborations, his artistic legacy remains an enduring testament to his creative genius and pioneering spirit.
