Born on August 21, 2001, Dallas Liu grew up in San Gabriel Valley, California. He practices Shotokan and competed in the North American Sport Karate Association.

He started practicing martial arts when he was 5 years old and stopped competing internationally at 13 years old. He began his acting career as young Jin Kazama on Tekken (2009).

Liu was referred to the audition by one of his martial arts teachers. His manager initially found him through karate videos uploaded on YouTube. He had a recurring role as Carter on Nickelodeon’s Legendary Dudas. 

He played Maya Erskine’s brother Shuji on PEN15 on Hulu Dramedy. He also played the role of Taylor King in Snapchat’s young-adult drama series Players and later appeared in Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings by Marvel Entertainment in 2021. He portrayed Ruihua, the younger brother of Awkwafina’s Katy.

Liu did a virtual reading of Seven Minutes in Heaven on September 26, 2020, for the play’s 10th anniversary. He has starred in several other movies and tv shows. Some of them include Underdog Kids, Ella, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Gortimer Gibbon’s Life’s on Normal Street, CSI: Cyber, The Who Was? Show, No Good Luck, and more.
