Rules of Engagement actor Dale Dye has two children – Christopher Dye, and Adrienne Dye.

They were born to him by actress Kathryn Clayton. There is no information regarding his children.
Dye has had a multifaceted career in the military, and in the film industry that spans decades.
Dye served in the United States Marine Corps for over 20 years, from 1964 to 1984, during which he become a Marine Corps captain.
Dye witnessed the Vietnam war and got wounded a few times. His heroism had earned him three Purple Hearts, and the Bronze Star Medal with Combat “V”.
Upon retirement from the military, Dye authored several books including “Run Between the Raindrops,” “Outrage,” “Platoon,” and “Conversations with the Screaming Eagle.”

Furthermore, with his military expertise and combat experience, he launched a career in technical consultancy for Hollywood, working with directors to portray military operations and tactics the right way.
Some of the films he has worked on include “Platoon,” “Born on the Fourth of July,” “Saving Private Ryan,” “Band of Brothers,” and “The Thin Red Line.”
Dye additionally ventured into acting numerous films, often in military roles. Some of his films include “Casualties of War,” “Under Siege,” “Mission: Impossible,” “Rules of Engagement,” and “Starship Troopers.”
