Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has broken the record for the most liked comment on social media by congratulating PSG player Kylian Mbappe on his transfer to Real Madrid.

Mbappe signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid on a free transfer. The forward will now earn €15 million (£12.8 million) annually, a decrease from the €25 million (£21.4 million) he was previously paid at PSG.
The French native expressed that he was “happy and proud to join the club of my dreams” as he shared a series of old photos of himself wearing Real Madrid gear.

In one of the images, the legendary Ronaldo, who was playing for Real Madrid at the time, is seen posing for a photo with Mbappe. The Portuguese forward fittingly commented on the post.
