At 39 years old, the captain of Portugal is gearing up for his sixth appearance in the tournament and displayed no indications of slowing down during Tuesday’s last warm-up match against the Republic of Ireland, delivering an early warning to other title contenders.

Ronaldo initiated his scoring with a magnificent shot from afar, seizing the ball on the edge of the penalty area before launching it into the back of the net.
