Cristiano Ronaldo made his 200th appearance in the English Premier League today, Sunday, October 2, 2021, from the bench against Everton football club.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in 2003. He made a significant impact in the league to the point of winning the Balon d’Or. He made 196 appearances and scored 84 goals before leaving to Real Madrid in 2009.

The football’s greatest goal scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid to Juventus in 2018 before returning to Manchester United in August 2021. Since returning to Manchester United, he has played four Premier League games scoring three goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo made his 200th appearance in the premier league for Manchester United against Everton today but failed to register a goal. Anthony Martial’s goal in the first half was leveled by Andros Townsend in the second help.

Andros Townsend after restoring parity for the visitors made the iconic Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration which was named “siuuuuu” in Italy. While others think it was a mockery, Andros Townsend claims it is a respectful approach to his idol.

“This guy is my idol, I grew up watching him. Spent hours on the training ground trying to execute his techniques. Maybe should have spent more time on the celebration. It wasn’t great execution. It was a bit of respect to him,” Via  Post Match Interview.
