Craig Lynch was a radio reporter who covered the clubs for more than two decades and was known for his extensive knowledge of clubs and baseball trivia.

Born fully blind, Lynch was known to listen to the games on the radio from his seat in the Wrigley Field press box.

Lynch worked as a radio reporter for WLPO in downstate La Salle and covered preps for the Chicago Sun-Times and Taylor Bell for over 20 years. Lynch, despite being a reporter, was a die-hard Cubs fan.

Lynch died on Tuesday at the age of 72 of complications from a stroke. Lynch was an incredible role model. His death is a huge loss for the Cubs and baseball as a whole. He is admired for accomplishing a lot while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
