Wales is the country of birth for well-known soccer player Craig Bellamy, who was born on July 13, 1979. Craig is also well-known for being a Welsh winger who represented Wales from 1998 to 2013 and played in a variety of English and Scottish leagues.
Bellamy, an ex-forward who now serves as Burnley’s assistant manager in the EFL Championship, was active as a forward. In 1996, he joined Norwich City and soon thereafter made his professional debut with them.

He joined Premier League outfit Coventry City in 2000 for a transfer fee that shattered the club record, however he was demoted in his first season. The next year, he joined Newcastle United, where over the course of four years, he helped the team twice reach the top four.
