Former forward who played professionally in Wales, Craig Bellamy (born July 13, 1979) is currently Burnley’s assistant manager in the Premier League. Bellamy, a Cardiff native, started his senior playing career in 1996 with Norwich City, where he made his professional debut.

He broke the club record when he signed for Premier League team Coventry City in 2000, although his only season there saw him relegated. The following year, he joined Newcastle United, where he spent four years and assisted the team to two top-four finishes.

In 2005, Bellamy and manager Graeme Souness had a falling out. Bellamy finished the 2004–05 season on loan with Celtic, where he won the Scottish Cup.
