His father Bob Feldman is a record producer best known for his work in the 1960s with fellow writers Jerry Goldstein and Richard Gottehrer, including “My Boyfriend’s Back”, “I Want Candy”, and “Sorrow”.

Corey Feldman’s mother Sheila Goldstein Feldman was a cocktail waitress. In an interview with Bankrate, Feldman said his parents abused their financial responsibility when he was young, so he became legally emancipated at 15.

Feldman said: “I had earned a million dollars by the time I was 13 or 14.” “But when I went to my bank accounts to see what my parents had put away for my future, there was $40,000 left. My father was my manager, so he controlled my money.”

Speaking about his parents and the situation that lead to his quest for emancipation, Feldman was honest about his reasoning. He told the Hollywood Reporter, “my parents were both very abusive and very selfish and were more interested in what was happening with themselves than what was happening with my life.” In the same interview, he elaborated that a broken relationship meant he could not report any sexual abuse to them.

I knew Bobby Feldman on a personal level and he told me he was not Corts father. So now who do I believe?
