Connie Jane Patterson W. Ridgeway, 59, of Rogersville, died on Friday, October 23, 2015, at her home. On Sunday, November 1, 2015, a private service was held for family and friends.

Mrs Ridgeway was born in Athens, Alabama, on July 4, 1956. She attended Clements Baptist Church in Athens, Alabama. Her family and friends remembered her as the loving, caring, and giving Christian woman she was to them all. She was adored by everyone who knew her, and she returned their affection.
Connie was survived by her sons, Austin Williams and fiancée, Eljona Dautaj, and Cameron Williams and wife Rachael.

Connie Ridgeway was discovered dead in her home at the Meadowland Apartments on Prince Drive in Rogersville, which is directly across the street from the Lauderdale County High School football field.
A neighbour requested a welfare check at Ridgeway’s apartment around 6 p.m. on Friday, October 23 prompting Rogersville police to respond. She was brutally stabbed in a home invasion according to reports.
