Before making his mark in the MLB, Tucker committed to playing college baseball at the University of Arizona.

His adaptability and prowess on the field caught the attention of the Arizona Diamondbacks, who claimed him off waivers on June 5, 2022.

The subsequent chapter in Tucker’s career saw him don the colors of the Arizona Diamondbacks and later the Colorado Rockies.

On December 7, 2022, Tucker signed a minor league deal with the Rockies, marking a new phase in his baseball odyssey.

The 2023 season began with Tucker playing for the Triple–A Albuquerque Isotopes, where he demonstrated his hitting prowess with a remarkable .311/.420/.460 batting line, including 5 home runs and 34 RBIs in 58 games.

On October 4, 2023, Tucker became a free agent again.
