First baseman for the Dodgers, Cody Bellinger, was born in Arizona to his parents Clay Bellinger and Jennifer Bellinger.

Cody’s father, Clay, used to play baseball for the New York Yankees and Anaheim Angels of the MLB.

He played from 1999 to 2002, and won three World Series

Clay has coached several teams, including the Chandler, and the Arizona National Little League team.

Cody’s mother, Jennifer, works for Sotheby’s International Realty. She was born in the Midwest but grew up on the West Coast.

She has been married to Clay since 1994.

Who Is Cody Bellinger?

Cody Bellinger is an American baseball outfielder and first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers of the Major League Baseball (MLB).

Cody was born on July 13, 1995, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

He attended Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, where he played baseball, before moving on to college to play for the Oregon Ducks.

In 2013, Cody was selected by the LA Dodgers as 124th pick in the fourth round of the MLB draft for that year, forgoing his commitment to the Ducks.

The Dodgers had offered him a signing bonus of $700,000.

In 2017, during the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, Cody was named the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year.

In 2018, he was named the MVP of the National League Championship Series, and the following year, he won the NL MVP, Silver Slugger, and Gold Glove Awards.

In 2020, Cody won his first World Series title, inspite of battling several injuries.

In 2021, Cody signed a contract extension with the Dodgers, worth $17 million.
