Renowned Cockney Rebel frontman Steve Harley, celebrated for his iconic song “Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me),” passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 73.

Despite battling cancer, Harley continued to captivate audiences until recently, before opting for treatment that led to the cancellation of his scheduled performances.

Harley, who resided on the Essex-Suffolk border with his wife Dorothy and their two children, Kerr and Greta, departed peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
