Clu Gulager reportedly passed away on 6th August 2022, at the age of 93. However, his cause of death has not yet been confirmed by close people and the media.

Clu Gulager was an American television and film actor and director from Oklahoma. He was born on November 16, 1928, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, United States. His father John Delancy Gulager was an actor and lawyer who settled in nearby Muskogee.

Clu Gulager is best known for his performance as William H. Bonney (Billy the Kid) in the NBC television series The Tall Man (1960–1962) and as Emmett Ryker in the NBC Western series, The Virginian.

Clu Gulager got his first major film role in Don Siegel’s The Killers (1964) as a villain. He has appeared in Dan O’Bannon’s The Return of the Living Dead (1985), A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985), Winning (1969), The Last Picture Show (1971), McQ (1974), The Initiation (1984), The Return of the Living Dead (1985), Feast (2005), Tangerine (2015) as well as Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).
