Claude Barzotti Obituary

Belgian-born France-based singer, Claude Barzotti has been reported dead. He died after a serious illness on June 24, 2023. He was 69 years old.

Tributes have been pouring in from fans after his death was announced.

“We have lost an emblematic voice of French song. His unique voice and timeless melodies will forever be etched in your hearts. Rest in Peace, dear Claude Barzotti,” a fan wrote.

“Sad news with the demise of Claude Barzotti. His unique voice and touching songs have marked generations. For me, “Madame” is one of my favorite songs from Claude Barzotti,” Angelo Heillig also wrote.

“Claude Barzotti, marked French song in the 80s, with the Rital and his other hits. A fully deserved success. Alas, alcohol will have destroyed his life and his career as he said. Generalized cancer prevailed. This is sad news. RIP,” another fan wrote.

“He had the sweetness in the words that tore his voice and that came together like a sweet melody that carried you away like the waves of the ocean off the firmament. Claude Barzotti flew away like a musical note lost in infinity,” Maurice Martin also shared.
