Clara Tauson is a Danish professional tennis player. Clara Tauson was born on December 21, 2002, to Soren and Tine Lindgaard Tauson.

Cecilia and Caroline Groth Cecilia Tauson are her two sisters. Clara stands at 1.82 metres and is right-handed.
Clara Tauson’s father, Soren, played professional hockey, and her mother was a world-class handball player.
Soren Tauson retired from professional hockey before Clara was born. Tauson’s uncle, Michael, was a former ATP world No. 101 with a 27-26 tour record.

Clara began playing tennis at the age of seven, after previously practising swimming. Tauson went pro in 2019, and she won the Australian Open as a junior in 2019.
She also represented Denmark in Fed Cup, where she went 5-5. She finished her junior year ranked in the top 200 on the WTA.
Clara Tauson won her first two WTA singles titles in her first year as a senior, at the Lyon Open and the Luxembourg Open, in addition to one Challenger and two ITF tournament wins. Simultaneously, she moved into the top 50 of the WTA rankings.
