Nigerian Singer, CKay’s trending song ‘Love Nwantiti’, has become the No. 1 song on Shazam US Chart and Shazam Global Chart.

This means that CKay has become the first Afrobeats artiste to have his song on the No. 1 spot on the popular music platform in the world. Essence by Wizkid and Tems acquired a similar milestone but it was only on US Shazam Chart.
CKay is currently the most-streamed Afrobeats artiste on Spotify in September 2021. Just a single song of his, ‘Love Nwantiti’ has pushed him to this level. As of now, he has over 100 million streams on Spotify, including all credits.

The singer became popular as an independent artiste after leaving the famous Nigerian music label, Chocolate City. He once shared that the label refused to promote him as a brand and kept him on a shelf. Therefore, one of the best decisions he ever made as an artiste is calling it quits with them.
