‘Love Nwantiti’ hitmaker, CKay, has become the most-streamed Afrobeats artiste on Spotify in September, 2021.

CKay has topped the top ten list which comprises of Wizkid, Burna Boy, Rema, Davido, Mr Eazi and others. His sudden rise to the top of the chart can be largely attributed to his hit single, ‘Love Nwantiti’ which has become a global hit after being used by several people on social media app, TikTok for videos.
The song was played at Met Gala 2021, used by the official TikTok page of Manchester United for a video snippet of Ronaldo, and many other platforms.
Even though the song was released quite a long time ago, it became famous when it appeared on TikTok. The social media app has been considered by many as one of the best apps that helps promote songs without finding no difficulties, as long as the song is good.

Not too long ago, CKay revealed that his former record label, Chocolate City, nearly made him obsolete because they were reluctant in promoting him as a brand. Therefore, departing from them is one of the best things he has done for himself to become a better artiste.
