Dreams FC is on the brink of advancing to the semi-finals of the competition after securing a first-leg triumph over Stade Malien in the quarter-finals.

The team rallied from behind to secure a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over the Malian side, and they are now focused on completing the task at hand in Kumasi this weekend.

Despite being debutants in African competitions, the Still Believe Boys have astonished many with their remarkable performances.

Prior to the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup quarter-final against Stade Malien, Akonnor has thrown his support behind the Ghana Premier League side, backing them to go all the way.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Akonnor stated, “Dreams FC are succeeding and has brought pride to Ghana. How fearlessly and confidently they play is something to behold.”

“I think they will win the competition the way they are going. We must all lend them our support. We should all be proud of the players for demonstrating soundness and unity, and we should support them to reach the finals and possibly win the championship.”
