A talented writer, Christopher Lee Yost has contributed to a wide range of media, including film, television, animation, and comic books. He is likely most recognized for his work on the Thor movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and The Mandalorian for Lucasfilm and Disney+.

Yost’s career started after he graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in film and video in 1995. Before obtaining an MA in film from the Peter Stark Producing School at the University of Southern California, he began making television advertisements in the Detroit area.

Yost’s 2002 internship at the west coast branch of Marvel Comics would later open doors for him to write for the X-Men: Evolution TV series and several other well-known animated programs.

As the head writer and story editor for Marvel Animation’s The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on Disney XD, Yost also worked on the Fantastic Four animated series, which debuted on Cartoon Network in 2006. He has also contributed to a number of animated projects, including Star Wars: Rebels from Lucasfilm.
