Christopher Walken Parents: Meet Paul Walken, Rosalie Russell

Christopher Walken is an American actor known for his distinctive voice, unique mannerisms, and versatility in portraying various characters. He is the son of Paul Walken and Rosalie Russell.

His mother Rosalie Russell is a Scottish immigrant from Glasgow, and his father Paul Wälken is a German immigrant from Gelsenkirchen. They owned and operated Astoria’s Walken’s Bakery.

Walken was inspired by actor Ronald Colman. He grew up as a Methodist. In the 1950s, he and his brothers, Kenneth and Glenn, were child actors on television, driven by their mother’s hopes of stardom.

Christopher Walken’s career spans several decades, and he has appeared in numerous films, television shows, and stage productions. He gained widespread recognition for his roles in both dramatic and comedic films.

Some of his acting credits include The Dogs of War (1980), Brainstorm (1983), The Dead Zone (1983), Hairspray (2007), Seven Psychopaths (2012), A Late Quartet (2012), the first three Prophecy films, and Percy (2020).
