Christopher Smith II is an American football strong safety who played for the University of Georgia from 2018 to 2022, and became a two-time CFP national champion.

Born on May 1, 2000, in Georgia, Smith played high school football at Hapeville Charter Career Academy in Union City, Georgia.
As a high school senior, he “recorded five interceptions and seven pass break-ups with 54 tackles”, and finished as a three-star recruit.
Smith went on to play at Georgia as a strong safety, and appeared in all 10 games in 2020.
He became a full time starter in 2021, and led his team to victory, after he made 74 yards for the only touchdown in a game against Clemson.
In the next 12 games, Smith recorded 34 tackles, and three interceptions.
During the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, Smith made a career high of seven tackles.
Smith appeared in a number of Bowl games including the Sugar Bowl (2019 & 2020), Peach Bowl (2021 & 2022), Orange Bowl (2021), the CFP National Championship (2022 & 2023).

Smith has also won a few awards including the CFP national champion in 2021 & 2022, the Unanimous All-American in 2022, and the First-team All-SEC in 2022.
