Christine McVie, an English musician, vocalits and keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac has died. McVie was born on 12 July 1943 and died on 30 November 2022. She was 79 years.

McVie joined Fleetwood Mac after her marriage to the band’s bassist John McVie.
John and Christine got married in 1968 and according to reports, Christine officially joined the band in 1970/71.

McVie decided not to have children as she believed that it would have affected her professional career.

In an interview, she explained her decision:
“There were never any children. There was always a career in the way. “It was a case of one or the other, and Stevie would say the same.”
In 1999, McVie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Fleetwood Mac, and received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
The same year, after almost 30 years with the band, she opted to leave and lived in semiretirement for nearly 15 years.
Five years later, she released a solo album .
In September 2013 she appeared on stage with Fleetwood Mac at the O2 Arena in London, before rejoining the band in 2014 prior to their On with the Show tour.
