McHale’s father, John is an Irish American, while her mother, Margarita is Cuban.
Margarita was born in Cuba, although she lived in Dumont, New Jersey until she clocked three.
Her family entire family resided in Hong Kong from the time she was three until she was eight.
So her migration had enabled her speak Mandarin Chinese, as well as Spanish.
McHale had relocated with her family members to the United States in 2000.
