His career was studded with remarkable achievements, including appearances in the Stanley Cup Finals with three different teams and winning the coveted Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007.
An extraordinary player, Chris Pronger made history by becoming the first defenceman since Bobby Orr in 1971–72 to win the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s most valuable player for the 1999–2000 season.
In 2017, his contributions to the sport were honored when he was named one of the “100 Greatest NHL Players” in history. His legacy as a defenceman continues to inspire young players, reinforcing his status as a true icon in the hockey world.
