Chris Pronger’s journey in hockey began in his hometown, where he honed his skills in minor hockey before making a significant step by signing with the Stratford Cullitons Jr. B club.

In the early days of his career, Pronger was chosen by the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League, where he showcased his prowess for two impressive seasons.
