Chris Owens Husband: Who Is Chris Owens’ Ex-husband Sol R. Owens? Does Chris Owens Have Children?

Sol R. Owens is the ex-husband of performer, club owner and entrepreneur who based her act out of the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, in the United States, Chris Owens.

Chris Owens and Sol R. Owens, a car dealer tied the knot in 1956.

Together the former couple opened a nightclub on St. Louis Street in the French Quarter.

After realizing that Chris Owens’ performance numbers were a huge attraction, the couple sold their house in 1977 and bought the building on the corner of St. Louis and Bourbon.

Sadly, Sol Owens had a heart attack and died in 1979.

After the death of Sol, Chris Owens took over control of the club and of the 30 apartments and four shops located within the building.

Chris Owens began production in 2003 of her first feature film, Let’s Ballroom, in which she stars as a wealthy widow who falls in love with her dance instructor.

Sadly, Chris Owens died of a heart attack on the morning of Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in her St. Louis Street apartment.

Chris Owens left behind three children.
