Christopher Paul Klieman is a former player and American football coach who is currently the head coach of Kansas State University in the Big 12 Conference.

Klieman currently earns $3.5 million per year. That figure will rise to $4 million next season and then to $4.3 million for the remaining years of his contract.
Klieman agreed to a six-year, $16.8 million contract, which runs until December 31, 2026.
However, if he leads the Wildcats to eight or more regular-season victories and the season concludes with a bowl game, his contract is automatically extended for one year at a salary of $4.3 million.

Chris Klieman’s contract also states that if he remains the head football coach at K-State on March 1, 2023, he will receive a $250,000 retention bonus. However, he will receive other bonuses before then.
Chris Klieman was hired as the program’s 35th head coach on December 10, 2018, to replace the recently retired Bill Snyder.
Kansas State won the Big 12 Championship by defeating TCU in overtime 31-28 on December 3, 2022.
