Chris Kaba, a 24-year-old rapper has died after he was shot by police after a chase in south London. He was shot after a pursuit of a “suspect vehicle” that ended in Kirkstall Gardens, Streatham Hill, at about 21:50 BST on Monday, Sept. 5.

Locals described how police used their own cars to box an Audi Q8 while shouting at the driver to get out.
But witnesses claimed the driver ignored police requests to give himself up and when he attempted to ram his way out of the roadblock, officers opened fire.

Kaba received treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital by the London Air Ambulance but died early on Tuesday (Sept. 6) from a gunshot injury sustained in the incident.
Pastor Rachel Swaby, who was extremely shocked at Kaba’s death said Mr. Kaba was a rapper known as Madix and part of the MOBO-nominated drill group 67.
According to Kim Alleyne (the mother of Karima Waite, who Kaba was engaged to), Kaba was due to become a father.
Kim Alleyne also said he had an apprenticeship to become an architect.
Kaba’s family are yet to give details of the time and venue for the final rites of the late rapper.
