Chris Kaba, a 23-year-old rapper has died.

What was Chris Kaba’s cause of death? Kaba was shot dead by police after a chase in south London. He was shot after a pursuit of a “suspect vehicle” that ended in Kirkstall Gardens, Streatham Hill, at about 21:50 BST on Monday, Sept. 5.

Locals described how police used their own cars to box in an Audi Q8 while shouting at the driver to get out.

But witnesses claimed the driver ignored police requests to give himself up and when he attempted to ram his way out of the roadblock, officers opened fire.

Scotland Yard said the victim, later identified as Chris Kaba, was given first aid at the scene and was airlifted to hospital but died a short time later.

Pastor Rachel Swaby, who was extremely shocked at Kaba’s death said Mr Kaba was a rapper known as Madix and part of the MOBO-nominated drill group 67.

According to Kim Alleyne (the mother of Karima Waite, who Kaba was engaged to), Kaba was due to become a father.
