Who Is Chris Donovan?

Chris Donovan is an American soccer forward who plays for Major League Soccer club Philadelphia Union.

Donovan was born on August 8, 2000, in Pennsylvania, United States, and played soccer at Conestoga High School, where he became a three-time First Team All-Main Line player.

In high school, he also led his team to three Central League championships, and won the league’s MVP in his senior year.

Donovan went on to play college soccer at Drexel University for the Drexel Dragons, where he appeared in 60 games, scoring 30 goals.

During his collegiate career, he won many honours including Gatorade Player of the Year, two state championships, the Philadelphia Inquirer Men’s Soccer Performer of the Year, the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region First Team, and All-American honors.

In 2022, Donovan began playing with the Philadelphia Union after he was drafted into the MLS.

He has additionally played for West Chester United, making 11 appearances and scoring 8 goals.
