American actor, Chris Cooper was very active in the 90s and the early 2000s. However, he has appeared in quite a lot of movies as well till date – 2023. He has starred in popular current movies including The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Irresponsible, With/In: Volume 2, and more.

After his son died in 2005, he moved to Kingston Massachusetts with his wife Marianne and adopted rescue dogs. He set up a memorial fund for his late son Jesse Cooper, named The Jesse Cooper Foundation.
In 2016, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
