Chris Carson is a former American football running back. He played professionally for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.
Born September 16, 1994, Carson graduated from Parkview High School. He played high school football at Parkview High School.
Carson subsequently played two seasons for Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas, east of Wichita, before transferring to Oklahoma State in 2015 and played two seasons under head coach Mike Gundy.
He was drafted out of Oklahoma State by the Seahawks in the seventh round with the 249th overall pick in the 2017 draft. Carson was one of the most underrated, determined backs in the NFL.

Chris Carson suffered a neck injury during Seattle’s Week 4 win over the San Francisco 49ers on October 3, 2021, and was placed on injured reserve on October 15, 2021. He underwent season-ending neck surgery in November.
On July 26, 2022, Carson retired from football after five seasons due to a neck injury.
27-year-old Carson in his five seasons with Seattle rushed over 3,502 yards on 796 carries and 24 touchdowns. He surpassed 1,300 rushing yards in 2018 and 2019.
