Chiefs Assistant Special Teams: Who Is Andy Hill?

Andy Hill is the assistant special teams coach with the Kansas City Chiefs, a position he has held since 2019.

Hill was born in Trenton, Mo, and bagged his first degree from Missouri in the 80s.

While at Missouri, he played with the Tiger football team and lettered for four seasons.

Hill recorded 51 passes caught for 946 yards and scored seven touchdowns.

In his senior season, he caught 25 passes for 445 yards and three scores.

After a successful playing career, Hill began coaching Missouri, and Hutchinson Community College, where he helped the team win its first conference title since 1969.

Hill was then named the conference Coach of the Year.

In 2021, Hill led his team to rank first in punt return yards and fifth in average kickoff yards.

Hill began his third season with the Chiefs in 2022, and he earns an annual average salary of $1,035,000.

He is married to his wife, Sarah, and together they share two children – Patricia Ryan and Andrew.
